Meeting and connecting people of various classes, status and sizes add beauty and spice up this age. Ordinarily, there are people you may not be able to know, see, meet, talk to and converse with one on one in your lifetime and vice versa but for the internet. The social media platform affords you the opportunity to address, talk, associate, interact, connect and relate with people in free expression without barrier and intimidation. Your tentacles are spread above and beyond the latitude and longitude of your geographical domain. Your circle of friends, family, connection, network and networking are broaden and expanded. You become global; operate in a frequency above and beyond restriction, limitation, obstacles and obstruction. With the social media, the world is at your fingertips. People and places are within your reach and at your disposal. You can reach and be reached. You are a celebrity, an icon in your class, the most popular, and world famous because, the whole wide world is your marketplace. No joke! The wall of partition between the people and the priest, the old and the young, the rich and the poor, the high and the low, the teacher and the students, the educated and the illiterate, the commissioner and the common, the hero and the zero, the able and the disabled, the nobody and the somebody and the known and the unknown is broken with the weaponry and instrumentality of chatting, pinging, youtube, sharing, yahoo and goggle. Indeed, talk, talking and communication are easy and cheap.

Nevertheless, the social media is like a net thrown into the sea that caught all kinds of fishes. Today, meeting people, building businesses and establishing a marriage relationship is more or less a click away. Thus, sexual immorality, promiscuity, fornication, prostitution, corruption, murder, pilfering, stealing, evil communication, wrong association, blind collaboration and inordinate affection and other vices are just a click away via social media. In the course of hanging out, meeting people and socializing; meeting the right set of people, right person for marriage and life partner is not a joke and not cheap. Bearing in mind there are people you would never ever wish to meet or miss in the long run. In the process of meeting and connecting people; many engage and settled for self-meet, self-help and/or help-meet respectively as spouse. Having satisfied your hunger to know and meet people, yet, couldn’t look like any. Your resemblance just couldn’t pop-up. Maybe no one can just fit in into your inner circle as a worthy spouse or life partner. Yes perhaps you have the crowd and the network of friends and family, yet, none of them seem to fit into your choice for a spouse. You may become a prey with self-help, becomes a meat for a self-meet but help-meet fixes and secures your destiny. A help-meet is a supporting striker. A help-meet is a help on point. Help-meet is help-fit, exact, precise, on point, timely, accurate, appropriate and secure. Even the holy book talks about he who finds a wife. In other words, there is a personal responsibility beyond searching, browsing, goggle, befriending, scouting, chatting, pinging, talking and dating to finding a help-meet; help fit, help appropriate, help exact, help precise for individual. However, to find, you must be. To find Mr. or Mrs. Right, become Right! To find fit, become fit. Otherwise it’s a futile effort searching. Contrasting between the wisdom and folly, the wisest and wealthiest, King Solomon nailed it, ‘see, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes’. Preacher seven verse twenty-nine. ERV. This succinctly fit the search for Mr. or Mrs. Right on social media. God christened it, ‘help-meet’, and canal men settle for ‘self-meet’ while the natural and immoral resolve to ‘self-help’.
